Woohoo I'm abusing using journal skins! And of course...I had to use a Death Note one XD

No real point to this journal...the last one was obsessively long and I couldn't take looking at it anymore.

"I Can't Just Leave" (which I would be much obliged if you would look to your left and click on the preview to read) is coming along nicely. Every night this week I've been adding a bit more to it. Typed up, it's at 2 pages and about 1300 words. Written, it's about 8 pages, but I don't have the word count. But it's gonna happen. At the very latest it'll be put up in its completion over Thanksgiving break.

I kind of want to get it out of the way so I can start on my other stories, "Redemption" and this crack story I've had in my head for a while, and, of course ibubblez's birthday story (which I am still working on diligently!) and our collab. So much to do...but at least I'm motivated. I just blame school.

If you are a frequent fanfiction.net visitor and a fellow Death Note lover, I highly reccomend reading the following: "First Time for Everything" by infinitusX and "The End is Near" by Tierfal. They both made me just about cry, the former because it is heartbreakingly beautiful (and Matt-centric with a dash of MattxMello) and I hope that at some point in life I can write as well as this author, and the latter because it is just too hilarious (ibubblez will agree; I made her read it, too). If you want another story with a higher rating (it's M, but only for horror), I reccomend bahari's "Asylum" and it's ongoing sequel, "Silence." (And look, I PROVIDED LINKS FOR ALL OF THEM UP TOP! So go go, Godzilla!) Warning: All of these contain small amounts of yaoi near the end. If you don't like, only read to a certain point. If you need help, I can point those sections out.

On an unrelated note: It doesn't get easier to watch Matt's death. D:

On another unrelated note: I've been listening to some of Evanescence's unreleased stuff the past two days, and some of it puts me in a Mello and Matt songfic-writing mood. D: Especially "Exodus," "Missing," and "Understanding." It's put me in a very depressed mood what with them dying at the end and Matt only being in 18 panels and all, truth be told. But they're good songs and DEFINITELY should be listened to.

So anyway, that's about all I have to say. I'm sure there's more, but I have to do a study guide for AP Psych and I've been putting it off for about an hour and a half. Oh dear.
